1. Where we ship
We ship to addresses in the United States. Prices are in US dollars, and the total — including any shipping — is shown at checkout before you pay.
2. When your order ships
We pack every order by hand and send it within 2 business days of your payment.
3. Shipping options and costs
- Economy shipping — free on every order; usually 5–8 business days once shipped.
- Standard shipping — usually 3–4 business days once shipped: $6.90 for one or two books, $9.90 for three to ten.
Delivery times are the carrier’s estimates, not guarantees.
4. Changing or cancelling an order
Changed your mind? Email orders@sightseeingsophie.com before your order ships and we’ll cancel it and refund you in full. Once it has shipped, the returns policy below applies.
5. Returns
You can return unused books within 14 days of delivery. To start a return, email orders@sightseeingsophie.com with the email address you used at checkout and the books you’re sending back, and we’ll reply with where to send them. Return postage is paid by you — unless the return is because of a mistake on our side (see below).
6. Damaged, misprinted or wrong books
If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, or isn’t what you ordered, email orders@sightseeingsophie.com within 14 days of delivery (a photo helps). We’ll send a replacement or give you a full refund — your choice — and we cover any postage.
7. Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method. We issue them as soon as returned books reach us, or straight away for cancellations and for our mistakes. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to show the refund. When a return is due to our mistake, we also refund any shipping you paid.
8. Questions and disputes
If something isn’t right with your order, please email orders@sightseeingsophie.com first — we’re a small team and we’ll do our best to sort it out quickly. If you open a dispute with your card issuer instead, we’ll respond with your order details to help resolve it.
