Sightseeing Sophie books are written and illustrated for ages 3–8 — perfect for early readers, though plenty of younger explorers love the pictures during story time too.

There are ten adventures so far: Boston, New York, London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Dubai, Hong Kong, Sydney and Cape Town. You can browse them all on our books page.

Economy shipping (5–8 business days) is free on every US order. Standard shipping (3–4 business days) is $6.90 for one or two books and $9.90 for three to ten. Orders ship within 2 business days — the details are on our shipping & returns page.

Yes — unused books can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and a book that arrives damaged, misprinted or isn’t what you ordered is always replaced or refunded. Here’s how returns work.

Very much so — each book is packed with real facts about landmarks, culture and history, plus local foods and traditions, all woven into Sophie’s adventure and an illustrated city map.

The series is written by Yola Thorp, with each city brought to life by illustrators Ayesha King and Laura Page.
